When Sarah Palin dissed Herman Cain as the "flavor of the week" in September, the Republican presidential candidate pushed back on her assessment.
"I got some substance here. Okay? I'm Häagen-Dazs Black Walnut. It lasts longer than a week," Cain told Tonight Show host Jay Leno, apparently unaware the flavor was a limited edition..........

Lol. That’s funny.
Sarah didn’t diss Herman Cain....she was saying that the media called him the ‘flavor of the week’
Palin only called him Herb several times.
As a Cain supporter, I will say this is a turn off.
He shouldn’t have been foolish enough to even go along with this line of questioning in the first place. This was nothing but trouble waiting to happen.
Of course my comments above apply assuming the transcript in the article is accurate.
Romney's vanilla. And chocolate. Nobody could accuse Romney of not being strawberry though.
I’m sure he would call himself ‘chocolate’ flavor. He has a great sense of humor.
Romney is whatever flavor you want him to be.
That is what started this whole thing.
The media called him flavor of the week...
On Leno, Cain responded that he was black walnut lol
Appropriately, black walnut has been discontinued.
“He shouldnt have been foolish enough to even go along with this line of questioning in the first place. This was nothing but trouble waiting to happen.”
I agree. The candidates need to learn that they don’t have to respond to every remark they hear or every idiotic question the leftist media throws at them. Newt gets this and doesn’t take the bait. The others need to deflect the conversation back to the Commie Punk in the White House.
I cannot disagree.
LOL Well, I thought it was funny.
I was hoping there’d be more humor in this thread, but I guess we’re too close to crunch time for too many laughs.
Personally, I think Ron Paul is Butterscotch, myself.
Does Exxon / Mobile make a grease flavored ice cream?
Maybe Bachmann's numbers will go up among Chico Marx fans. "Get your tutti frutti ice cream!"
ROFL!! :)
I found the humor in it, but liberals won’t because they don’t have a sense of humor.
Bingo! Unoftunately too many people deal in conjecture, innuendo, and gossip instead of the facts. Palin was referring to the media. She did not personally refer to Cain as "flavor of the week."
