Is it possible to be a conservative and be in favor of Mitt Romney? He’s pro-choice, pro-gun control, pro-gay union/marriage, pro-big government, pro-taxes, etc.

Is it possible to be in favor of those things and be a conservative?

Easy answer: No. It is not possible.

Pro-choice totally kills him for me. I don’t need to go on to the others.

If the GOP foists Romney on us, it will lead to the birth of a new political party.

To be fair, he does claim to have had a Damascus Road conversion and see the light.

The early Christians followed the huckster Paul on his claim of a miraculous conversion by mere faith - and he spent years before that persecuting them.

It will take a lot more than mere faith to convince folks Mitt Romney is now a sincere, goodness to honest conservative.

You missed Ann's point- That's when he was trying to trick liberals into voting for him. Since 2005, we have a new and improved Mitt trying to trick concervatives into voting for him. ;o)
