His record as Speaker is really quite impressive.

I don’t think there is much love between Newt and the congress, after the way he was ousted from it.

Newt is one we’ll have to watch, but then, aren’t they all?

I don’t remember him being ousted. I remember he tried to shame Clinton into resigning in the midst of Lewinsky after Newt’s own affair was made public.

Newt was “ousted” after an investigation was launched regarding a book he wrote. After he resigned, the charges were dropped, as they were baseless. Sound familiar? It might also be important to note that Newt and his second wife, Marianne, were separated in the 90’s for six years. I believe they reconciled in 1996 but eventually divorced in 1999.
