We’ll see. My fear is that many/most conservatives will vote for any socialist, so long as it comes with an R label attached.
That's my fear. Having voted socialist R once or twice myself when the alternative was an even bigger commie, I understand the temptation all too well.
I do think we'll eventually wind up with 3 main parties - Green/Liberal, Dem/Repub, and Conservative.
