Hmmmmmm….November 17th??? Why November 17th???
Of all days, why would a leftist organization pick November 17th to stage a mass protest??

Where did November 17 get its name?
From the November 17, 1973, student uprising at Athens Polytechnic University. Twenty students were killed when Greek army tanks suppressed the protests, and the group formed in part to retaliate against the ruling military junta.

Why does this surprise anyone? Everything they say makes it clear they are Communists. They want to take money from the rich to support themselves. And if the rich don’t agree to give up their wealth, the OWS crowd will riot and use force to get it. What the Hell is that if it isn’t Communism?

6 From Greek Terror Group Get Life Sentences

ATHENS, Dec. 17— A Greek court sentenced the leader, the chief assassin and four other members of the November 17 terrorist organization to multiple life sentences on Wednesday for a string of killings, rocket attacks, bombings and bank robberies since 1975.
Closing a nine-month trial in a prison courtroom, a special antiterrorist court sentenced Alexandros Yiotopoulos, a Paris-born academic who acted as the terror group's spiritual leader, to 21 life terms.
Dimitris Koufodinas received 13 life terms for gunning down several of the terror group's 23 victims, including Britain's top military official in Greece, Brig. Stephen Saunders, three years ago. Four other men received sentences ranging from one to 10 life terms in the Korydallos maximum security prison.
The sentences were handed down a week after a prosecutor recommended no mercy for the convicted terrorists, branding November 17 ''a fascist grouping with Stalinist traits and military tactics.''
Named for the date of the student uprising in 1973 that led to the collapse of a brutal military dictatorship that ruled Greece from 1967 to 1974, November 17 ranked among the West's most mysterious terror groups, eluding the authorities for nearly three decades.
I think before too long we are going to see the re-emergence of groups like ‘The Red Brigades’ and the “Baader-Meinhof Gang.”
I wonder if they got the memo about “no more honoring the guy who shot the White House”?
What I wish conservative tv shows like Becks would be doing is background investigations and provide the answers to:
OWS participants ...Their backgrounds including the naming of the college they are attending, the courses they’re tazking, and their professors names...Are they getting paid ? How much ? By who.?.. Name the donnors
They’re being directed to target bridges and traffic choke points...Why ? This is being orchestrated...By who ? Very likely those signs their displaying has a union bug on them who is making them ??
Connect these dots and bring it back to the dema-coms...

Beck has been tracing the roots of the organizers since it began 2 months ago, but also a year ago when he began putting the pieces together of what was to unfold. This is why I say Beck is our most important journalist of TV/radio precisely because he investigates areas of crucial importance rather than simply comment on the passing scene.
