Obama joins Google+

WASHINGTON (AFP) - Google+, the Internet search giant's rival to Facebook, has a high-profile new member: US President Barack Obama.

"Obama for America," the president's 2012 reelection campaign, created an official Barack Obama page on Google+ on Wednesday.

"We're still kicking the tires and figuring this out, so let us know what you'd like to see here and your ideas for how we can use this space to help you stay connected to the campaign," it said in its first message.

I’d like to see O-BOW-Mao’s picture on the front page of every newspaper in the country wearing his federal penitentiary uniform with his prison number. I’d like to see the Chicago-thugmeister breaking a few rocks. I’d like to see Odumbo in the same cell as Blogojevich. I’d like to see Obamanation handcuffed and gagged sitting in a cell having to watch videos of Joe Biden speeches 24 hours a day. I’d like.....sorry my time has expired.

I read your post and went and did the same thing! Deleted google and made Bing my home page. Google gets no more hits from me either.

You're right about the nice pictures. Google on the other hand, has daily juvenile gifs that always made me think their staff are teenagers or maybe early 20's.
