Surely I can’t be the only person that sees guitar playing as far overrated. I can’t stand a song played by Jimi Hendrix, and his National Anthem version is worse that a chorus of squeaky chairs to me.
The version found on iTunes does not have the National Anthem included; you have to purchase the actual album in order to get it.
Admittedly, I haven’t heard every recording of Hendrix but what I have heard just grated on my nerves. To me, it was alot of noise. He is not #1 on 3cats list.
Our son used to play off the Hendrix blues album. Some god licks on there and singable tunes. Hendrix music overall was not my style, but his rank seems to be the majority opinion and that’s among many guitar players.
