Story says Cain denies, but notice lawyer’s more carefully constructed reply, which does not deny report in any way.

Nice Try. Maybe if you had watched the Cain interview on CNN you would have heard that Cain said there was no affair.

You should edit your Title...it is Inaccurate and misleading

You seem have difficulty with the truth.

His lawyer equivocated, Herman did not.

I don’t see a denial either.

Another sensational headline, but the story doesn’t match.

“Rather, this appears to be an accusation of private, alleged consensual conduct between adults - a subject matter which is not a proper subject of inquiry by the media or the public. No individual, whether a private citizen, a candidate for public office or a public official, should be questioned about his or her private sexual life. The public’s right to know and the media’s right to report has boundaries and most certainly those boundaries end outside of one’s bedroom door.”

This is a really bad answer. Telling people what’s their business about a candidate is just arrogant and stupid.

Cain never harassed her or treated her poorly, though their physical relationship ended eight months ago, just before Cain announced his candidacy for president, White said. She provided some text messages and phone bills as documentation of her contact with Cain.

The station also released a statement from Cain's attorney, Lin Wood, who said the allegations of "private, alleged consensual conduct between adults" is not "not a proper subject of inquiry by the media or the public."

If she has released texts and phone bills as the above quote from the article suggests, and if the campaign's defense is "consensual relationship", then one has to wonder if this is an attempt at innoculation or a defense?

I'm going to suggest that Cain is done in Iowa and New Hampshire as America sorts out how to deal with new, private information that's being revealed. The voting public won't have this sorted out by then.

They've had decades to sort out the Gingrich affairs.

Cain's stuff, however, is raw and new, and who knows what else will pop up.

Cain has been my favorite of the second string since Palin decided not to run but this is too much. It’s up to him now to prove he’s innocent. And no parsing of words. That’s a Bill Clinton tactic.

I noticed that this woman has some lawsuit issues with other people. Why do all these women have lawsuit issues and why are they all from the NRA? He has to know women from outside of this association. It’s just weird that every new accusation has to sound worse than the last, when the last one doesn’t pan out.
