Newt’s acceptance of Freddie Mac fees while suggesting politicians who profited from Fannie-Freddie should go to jail leads Scarborough to say Newt “not fit to be President of the United States.” Ping to Today show list.

FUJS! Is this the new media meme: not fit to be president? Whoopie Goldberg said the same thing about Michelle Bachman this week.

And while Newt certainly has a lot of baggage, no one ever found a dead assistant in his office.

And what's with Mika B - is she trying to look like a boy?

Joe Scarborough is not fit to be a serious analyst. Then again, no one takes him seriously. He is tool of the left and totally irrelevant to the right.

And he has had “Newt envy” for years.

So whether or not Newt is fit, Scarborough’s opinion does not matter and by the way Joe — what about the current occupant!!!!???? Is he fit?

Who doesn’t know yet that the talking-head-harrumph’ers on msnbc have a staff meeting prior to moourning joe where they agree which Republican candidate to eviscerate on any given day?
These bits of human sewage are beneath contempt. In fact, sewage should be offended that I threw them in alongside.
How obvious is it? They have taken it upon themselves to run interference for their still-unvetted, communist boy-king?
I watch for a few moments every day just to get a whiff of their drift; but it’s painful theater, kind of like watching Sartre’s “Nausea” or “No Exit”. But thank God, there is an exit, it’s called “The Remote”, and I leave with most of my sanity intact.
They are beneath contempt.
Newt is under their skin, though; and he will trounce their obominator. I cannot wait for him to undress the already naked emperor.

Unfit, no. I do think nominating Newt would be the triumph of hope over experience.

Neither was Kennedy, Johnson, Nixon, Ford, peanuts, bubba, zero, and possibly Bush. They are all the result of our voting for the lesser of one or more other evils.
We're being herded like sheep and I'm done with it. I'll only vote for someone who meets my minimum standards.

You’ll have to forgive Joe. He is subject to ideological rape every day by his liberal overlords. His mind is not right.

Obama isn’t fit to be President of an All Boys Singing Quarter, but look where he is now. I have more faith in Newt than Obama. And between the two, when American lives and business is at stake, I know which one isn’t going to throw us to the wolves.

Note the “Newt vs. Non-Newt” screen banner. The left is trying to shove Gingrich into the “anybody but *him*” place that is currently occupied by Romney.

It seems several of those that served with him feel that way. I am sure they know where more untold dirt is on newt, I expect one of them to leak before long.

I don’t know what “fitness to be President” means. Certainly, I have argued that the current occupant at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue is unfit for the office (and I am not resorting to Constitutional questions).

Mr Gingrich was magnificient as an opposition leader when the Republicans were in the minority in the House of Representative, and I give him great credit for the results of the 1994 election.

However, when Speaker of the House, he reportedly would have a grand idea on a daily basis which then was the top priority. The next day, he would have a new grand idea which became the new top priority.

I think that the president needs to be a little more focused. I think highly of Mr Gingrich, but I shudder at the thought of him as president of the Republic.

SCARBOROUGH RESPONDS: OBAMA RECORD ‘DISASTROUS,’ WON’T BE VOTING FOR HIM EITHER

In response to an inquiry from this NewsBuster, Joe Scarborough has clarified his comments, making clear that his criticism for Newt shouldn’t be interpreted as support for Obama.

Scarborough statement:

“Anyone who watches the show or reads my Politico column knows that I believe Barack Obama’s economic policies have been disastrous as they pertain to the issue I have fought for over 20 years: reducing the national debt. I have also consistently expressed grave misgivings about the president’s foreign policy for years. So while I respect the president and am confident he is doing what he believes to be best for America, his views are dramatically different than mine.

“The assumption of some Gingrich supporters that my critiques of their candidate can somehow be twisted into support for Barack Obama suggests a knowing ignorance of my political beliefs over 20 years. I was more conservative than Gingrich while in Congress (95% ACU rating) and have remained more conservative than Mr. Gingrich since leaving Congress. Unlike the former speaker, I have supported the Ryan Budget, didn’t get rich off of Freddie and Fannie, criticized Ethinol and never bragged about being a Rockefeller Republican.”I have nothing personal against Newt. He’s just not consistently conservative enough to win my vote. Barack Obama is also obviously not conservative enough to gain my vote.”

How dumb is this guy? The ONLY untainted guy to be President is Jimmy Carter as far as I know. We have had nothing but fornicators and liars as President and just a little research would prove it out.
