That said, Cain's reactions to the accusations have not been exactly reassuring, either. I can't help but think there is some fire behind the smoke.
It's too bad. He seemed like a promising new face on the political scene. But IF he is lying to his wife and to the public, good riddance. And better we found out before he got nominated.
My honest opinion on Cain’s responses are that he’s got no clue HOW to respond! I mean, if I were accused of things I didn’t do..and had never had to deal with it before, I’ve no clue what I’d do other than deny it.
I’ll give my mother/monster-in-law as an example. She makes up WILD things about me and tells my husband who says “I don’t know what to believe”. Pisses me off and I say, how about believe your wife?!! I have no idea what else to say as his mom is a habitual liar...and I think Cain is basically facing the same with these women.
How many times are you going to fall for this tactic? How gullible are you, did you fall for the Palin charges too? What happened to innocent until some evidence is shown?

ENOUGH of this sanctimonious B/S. I'm not solidly in Cain's camp, but I'll use my why-I-voted-for-Hayworth rationale: I don't care if Cain is caught doing funny things with farm animals out behind the barn, he'll get my vote if the candidate. He's from OUTSIDE the Beltway and not a career hack like the rest of them - that's why all this "shocking" crap is being thrown at him. After Clinton, any outrage is posing.
