Darwin's "Origin" has two chapters covering Geloogy.

Chapter IX "On the Imperfection of the Geological Record."

Chapter X "On the Geological Succession of Organic Beings."

That post doesn't tell me anything regarding how this discovery supposedly supports evolution.
