I’ve never voted for Ron Paul. I am thinking that this time I will vote for him.
Actually Newt may end up being the Howard Dean of 2012. Very similar numbers going into Iowa.
Dean was picking out curtains about this time.
I think Rick Santorum has a real shot in Iowa. It would be funny to see Paul and Santorum finish 1 and 2.
Really? 100% of your views? For starters, would you openly associate with and endorse well known Code Pink activists, 9/11 truthers for Congress?
And there’s a chance that I’ll vote for him when all is said and done. Heck, my first choices are out so why wouldn’t I consider him?
Frankly, I don’t agree with RP on some things, but he’s been consistent, prescient, and sticks to his guns. I can’t say the same about the other frontrunners. While I’d prefer to see RP as the Fed chairman and think that’s the best office he could fill, I think he’d be a better than average President.
And while it’s popular on FR to dismiss Ron Paul supporters as a bunch of potheads, I’ve met more than a few supporters who are sane, conservative, family folk who have little interest in drug legalization. They see the rest of the package and see it as something they like.
“It would be funny to see Paul and Santorum finish 1 and 2.”
And even funnier to see the OH S***!! reaction of the gop power structure.
“For starters, would you openly associate with and endorse well known Code Pink activists, 9/11 truthers for Congress.”
Or candidates who co-sponsored legislation with Nancy Pelosi 400 plus times, or who developed a socialized medicine model while governor, or who endorsed Arlen Specter for Senate before being shown the door in their own Senate race.....
So what makes sense, foreign policy wise then? How much war is enough for you?
1. Blame America and the thousands that were murdered for 9-11 just like Ron ?
2. You hate Jews and Israel like Ron ?
3. You support Iran and its right to get nuclear weapons like Ron ?
4. You support Code Pink and the Terrorist flotilla trying to invade Israel like Ron ?
5. You support Earmarks and the millions that Ron Paul has funneled to his buddies over his buddies over his 30 years in DC ?
6.You support Ron Paul decision to be 1 of only 4 republicans to vote against the GOP earmark ban?
7 You support the 134,000,000 in earmarks requested in 2009 by Ron ?
That's your Ron !
I agree. I have been reading about libertarianism for the past few years and it seems to be the only Constitutionally Conservative response.
All the drama aboout marijuana...well it is practically legal now.
if he does, Ron Paul will be a one trick Iowa pony. Just my opine, but find it hard to believe anyone could vote for that nutcase.
Rick Santorum - I have no personality
Rick Perry - I have no memory
Michelle Bachmann - I have no confidence in interviews
John Huntsman - I have no enemies in China
Ron Paul - I have no straitjacket
Mitch Romney - I have no consistent positions
Newt Gingrich - I have no wetbacks that I want to deport
and for the departed:
Herman Cain - I have no 9 lovers, 9 harassments, or 9 voters left
Gary Johnson - I have no body who knows who I am.
Donald Trump - I have no future apprentices in this group
Chris Christie - I have no weight problem
Rudy Guiliani - I have no Rick Perry endorsement this round
And now we know why Sarah Palin should have run!
For the record, I would crawl to the polls on broken glass to cast my vote for Sarah Palin. I wrote her name in last time.
Robertson did not win the Iowa Caucus in 2008. Bob Dole did.
Sorry, wrong Pat. Robertson finished 2nd, but Buchanan won in 96.
