“We cannot continue to rely on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives that we’ve set. We’ve got to have a civilian national security force that’s just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded.” Barack Hussein Obama, 7/2/2008
They don’t call it a Civil Defense force, that would imply we need (or perhaps deserve) defense.
The official name is National Civilian Community Corps.
I think of it as the NATCCC, or simply the NATCs...

I think WayneSburg can get by with one “Bearcat” w/full complement of armaments and ammunition; three M-16s w/ 50,000 rounds of ammunition each; and three grenade launchers with 1,000 rounds each...
..Oh, and one helicopter, please.

Obama recently signed EOs that allow him to seize control of all roads, waterways, rail roads, telecom infrastructure, the air traffic control system, water works, power companies, pipelines, etc., pretty much everything necessary to bring the entire country to a screeching halt at the flip of a switch. Wow! Do you have a link?

At the same time they are moving to disarm us, the Department of Homeland Security, along with Obama’s allies at the higher levels of all government agencies are takinig steps to convert a “soft” tyranny into what the Venezuelans and other are facing.
A dedicated, well-armed corps of law-enforcement personnel capable of smashing ANY discontent on ANY side of a political issue - but most especially OURS.
Not that the libs should feel secure. Hitler had his Roehm purge.
This is very frightening. I have far more confidence in our military not to fire on American citizens than I do on law-enforcement personnel.

I'm going from memory here, but I think he is referring to an incident that unfolded approximately as follows:
A mid-to-late 1970s (possibly early 80s?) group of radical-black-activist types were wanted for various crimes. They holed themselves up in a couple of row house/townhouse units in a poor/ghetto part of Philly.
These were NOT nice people by any stretch of the imagination. However, instead of waiting them out, or deploying police in the specific units in which the criminals were holed-up, the Philly police dropped some kind of jury-rigged incendiary device out of a helicopter on to the row houses/townhouses. They pretty much wiped out an entire city block.
That's how I remember it, anyway.

"It is a back door tactic to circumvent the intent of the Posse Comitatus Act."An excellent point.

LOL! I remember that PR disaster. They were trying to break up and arrest a group of separatist nut jobs hold up in a fortified row house. So the rocket scientists on the Philly PD came up with what looked like a home made depth charge. A 55-gallon drum filled with explosives, suspended from a PD helicopter and dropped on the roof of the building. POOF! Several city blocks went up in flames. "Think ya' used enough dynamite there, Butch?"

Ok here is whats going to happen. Either next year the Government (Obama) knows somethings up and are preparing the Civilian LE for massive chaos or civil disorder or Obama is really going to call martial law, due to any number of reasons. From Disaster to political upheaval to nuclear war. Maybe the whack job Alex Jones is right about the fema camps. With this bunch in the White Hut who knows? Or maybe 12-21-12 is the day things end and the survivors need to be kept in line.

The Philly Police were trying to evict a group of radical black Marxist squatters who had holed up inside a row of town houses. They tried to force them out by dropping a bomb from a helicopter onto the roof of their building. They started a massive fire which took out 65 homes.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MOVE
There were big investigations into this here in Pennsylvania.
Fast Eddie Rendell’s fingerprints were on it somehow as I recall.
To: fruser1
Thanks for looking that up. It looks like I was off a bit on the date of the actual bombing.

The implication here is a coup d'état against the United States by those in governmental authority?
And that it is going apace right out in the open for everyone to see, which is the best place to hide anything?

It started a fire from gas cans that were up there, and the result was what you recall.
Whenever there is a standoff situation, the Police try to force a conclusion by aggressive engagement (They attack) and it almost NEVER ends well (Can you say Waco?).
People always die every time it has been tried.
