He may understand it, so do I, but what, in all the time he has been in Washington has he done about it?

He understands the economy and the role of the Fed better than most on Capitol Hill. He does? How? He has been saying for decades that we spend more than we take in, that it would hurt the dollar and that the Fed makes things worse and is not transparent enough. Isn't that just the conventional wisdom espoused by most fiscally conservative economists for just as long?
