I admit that Perry is not my guy. I generally avoid attacking him, and I don't feel that I am attacking him here. The partial transcript that you posted helps make the situation look better for Perry than an extremely truncated transcript would, I see that.

Still, that transcript does not completely convince me that Perry was trying to specify just the 8 who voted against the case. I think it's possible he thought there are just 8 judges. But I won't push it. This is a minor point.

It seems real simple to me that he was just referring to the 8 judges who ruled prayer in the class room unconstitutional,
Otherwise how would he have even remembered it. Perry is A ok, if any body is.
