The Karl Rove-related conservative PAC is about to launch $500,000 worth of cable TV ads against President Obama that features Fremonts most famous bankrupt solar company, Solyndra. Just a guess: The three ads wont be positive.
Indeed. They paint as Obama as feeding the beast that is crony capitalism exemplified by Solyndra, the high-tech solar panel manufacturer that incinerated $528 million in taxpayer-funded federal loan guarantees when it declared bankruptcy.
H/T to the AP for getting the jump on this one. Says the A-to-the-P:
The nationwide ad by Crossroads GPS is aimed at exposing this ugly underbelly of Obamas vision, according to a memo from Crossroads president Steven Law. It calls the Solyndra case a powerful cautionary tale about big-government hubris and the cronyism it invariably invites.
Obamas administration restructured the Solyndra loan so that private investors would be repaid before taxpayers in case they defaulted, says the AP about its own investigation. . . .

Hate Rove all you want ....at least he is doing something
Think Tokyo Rove will give credit to Sarah Palin for the term “crony capitalism”.
TR has done a lot of damage, and has to do a LOT MORE before I care one whit about the turdblossom.
Trying to reclaim some of the support he knows he helped the GOP lose by helping to sabotage every non-establishment candidate who dare to run or consider running?
No thanks, too late. I refuse to vote (R) and hope the collapse occurs later rather than sooner with the (D). I know I will be called names again for expressing my belief, but the founding fathers didn't just ask King George for a tax decrease and a more lenient group of governors. They pushed for drastic change - all or nothing.
I say to the GOP the same thing - drastic change (a CONSERVATIVE candidate) or nothing (no vote from me for Prez).
Not to mention a hypocrite. Rick Perry's Solyndra
...and that's just one example of many.
I'm all in favor of him turning his cannons on the real enemy. I just don't like it when he and his buddies to try decide the primary instead of letting the voters do it.
Thanks for the ping.
