Jeb Bush: Capitalism and the Right to Rise
Wall St Journal ^ | 12/19/11 | Jeb Bush

Posted on 12/19/2011 6:01:45 AM PST by Lady Lucky

Think about it. We talk about the right to free speech, the right to bear arms, the right to assembly. The right to rise doesn't seem like something we should have to protect...

Anybody else getting an “uh oh” moment out of seeing a Jeb Bush editorial on the eve of primary season?

“Anybody else getting an “uh oh” moment out of seeing a Jeb Bush editorial on the eve of primary season?”

It’s too stomach-turning this early in the morning to even think about another Bush.

Lord, please help us if the establishment starts pushing Jebbie.

Neither did the right of a helpless innocent, to a drink of water.

Thank God for your post.

We should never forget this example of the cowardice of Jeb Bush, who used the State Police to ward off any merciful help to a dying Terri Schiavo.

He alone as Governor, had the executive power to save her life, and he choose not to do so.

I never want to see him in national politics. A walking disaster, and two Bushes almost sank this country in less than 20 years.

White-livered ***** couldn’t lift his own authority over the head of a county probate judge if an innocent woman’s life depended on it, and it did.
Jeb Bush makes Romney look like Audie Murphy, Mother Teresa and Barry Goldwater all rolled up in a single package and giftwrapped in Sarah Palin.

“He’s better than any of those running”

If true, then it is a sad commentary on the field.

In short, we must choose between the straight line promised by the statists and the jagged line of economic freedom. The straight line of gradual and controlled growth is what the statists promise but can never deliver. The jagged line offers no guarantees but has a powerful record of delivering the most prosperity and the most opportunity to the most people. We cannot possibly know in advance what freedom promises for 312 million individuals. But unless we are willing to explore the jagged line of freedom, we will be stuck with the straight line. And the straight line, it turns out, is a flat line.

No doubt many will instinctively bash a Bush, but I like what Jeb has to say here.

Umm... Could you please tell me why Jeb is being blamed for Terry Shaivo’s death? I could’ve sworn it was her conniving husband and that judge who killed her by starvation! Was Jeb Bush in a conspiracy with them to have her killed? If I remember correctly, Jeb actually prevented her being starved to death for a year? I don’t know what it was he did.

I guess to give time for the family and other people to see if they could get her to take some types of food. I can’t remember. In any rate, the husband was bound and determined to have her starved to death in any case, because of his (supposed)belief that she didn’t want to be kept alive by any means, if she couldn’t have a normal life! He also had a girlfriend w/family, and didn’t want Terry around!

He was also afraid apparently that somehow it could come out that he may have caused her condition! Anyway, I don’t believe Jeb Bush caused her death, why is he being blamed by you, and some other Freepers? I realize that some of you seem to hate the Bushes with a purple passion, and I don’t know why.

But to blame Jeb for a poor lady being starved to death by a determined husband who wouldn’t give up custody to her family, and a conniving judge, is kind of cold isn’t it? What has he/or whole Bush family done personally to all of you Bush family bashers? It seems to me to be some kind of excuse to smear the whole family!

Get back to me Jeb when you come out forcefully and completely against Illegal Immigration and Amnesty.

Until then, you’re dead to me.

Almost sank this country? Oh please, this is getting really ridiculous! And what do we have now? I wish we did have one of the Bushes back right now! This might seem to be a sore subject on this board right now w/a lot of people on here. But before it’s forbidden to talk about the Bush family, I’ll say it. I’d darn sure have Jeb, or brother/their dad back, than what we have now!

Thank you for your post defending Jeb, the Bush family! I hardly know what to say to some of these people. I can’t understand, in light of who has taken over this country since, why the hate of the Bushes! It seems that the people saying all this stuff, have so much animosity for the Bush family that they have to invent reasons to smear the whole family and those who still admire and defend them!

I realize they weren’t perfect leaders all the time, no leader is, except the Lord himself. They may have made a few mistakes at times in leadership. However, they did many things that I voted for them to do, and I hope we get someone in there next year who is a lot like them! If that is some kind of blasphemy on here, that’s too darn bad!
