I was for her until she turned negative. When she was bashing Obama I was with her all the way. Then she turned on her friends, and I was done. Everyone but Romney, hmmm, I wonder what was up with that. I would not vote for her now if she was the last one.

Seriously though, the reason Bachmann is unfavored is because she's shown herself to be ineffectual—hasn't actually accomplished anything despite her boasts of a 'titanium spine'. And by far the biggest factor, is that she's revealed herself to be a shameless, downright sleazy opportunist who'll stoop to any level of lies and nasty demagoguery about other candidates if it might be to her gain. Disliking Bachmann has nothing to do with the fact that she's a woman, there are plenty of reasons to dislike her aside from that.

I think a lot of this slasher attack on Bachmann is coming from the politcal class who are cheering for their respective candidates who are their bread and butter. There is just too much nastiness directed at her, just as it was directed against Palin.

They don’t like Bachmann because she is for real and not playing politcal games as some of her detractors are.
