“Un-flippin believable! If a Republican President had pulled this kind of crap, the national media and the Democrats would be screaming for impeachment hearings TODAY! Wanna bet this doesn’t even get mentioned on the nightly news?”

“So, what do we do about it?”

On January 4, 2006 President Bush made 17 Recess Appointments.

There were no impeachment hearings and the national media did not scream.

Did you object this strongly to Bush’s 17 Recess Appointments?

The Senate is not in recess; therefore, these appointments are blatantly unconstitutional.

The Senate was actually in recess for President Bush. This is not the case for Mr. Obama.

The Senate isn't in recess. BO has "deemed" it to be in recess.

Was the Senate in recess? If it was, then Bush could legally do that.

The fight over these appointments is that the Republicans claim the Senate is NOT in recess. They have apparently refused to allow the Senate to go into formal recess precisely to block these sorts of appointments.

“Did you object this strongly to Bush’s 17 Recess Appointments?”

Bush’s were set with precedent, and quite legal albeit controversial at the time. The Democrats later pulled the trick the Republicans are using today to keep the Congress open to prevent recess appointments.

Obama today is jab-pushing Uncle Sam, and saying “whatchoo gon do bout it”? like the Street Punk from Chicago that he is.

He’s pushing, because he knows something. I believe he knows Congress will do anything to avoid racial experiences this clown is prepared to summon the minute he doesn’t get his way. This will be his direction until November.

The Senate was actually in recess at that time.

How many recess appointments did bush make after that?

Can you guess?

The Senate was in a Pro Forma session devised by the new Dem Majorities. You know nancy, harry and that new senator from ill.

RECESS APPOINTMENTS! These aren’t recess appointments, breaking both tradition and consultation.

You're a foolish troll.

There is NO recess thus these are not "recess appointments" by definition.

Actual recess appointments are commonplace throughout our history.

This is a deliberate, willful, constitutional crisis.

Exactly!

....And it’s past time to fight these UN-Constitutional actions he’s taking.
