I say drop all recess appointments. It is ridiculous that a President can hire someone without confirmation to begin with. Bush picked 43 and Obama has picked 41 (in the same 3 year period). Let’s get real. Give Holder and the DOJ one week to respond to the letter and anser the questions. If they do not respond within the time limit then cut off funds to that organization. Also Boehner can issue a statement signed by House members declaring the appointment to be unconstitutional and that any orders from that organization be ignored.

Actually, Grassley has just set up the DOJ for a smackdown by the Supreme Court. If the president can deem the recess, then it nulls and voids a provision of the Constitution and will therefore by necessity be overturned, even by the court leftists.
