The NEA has done an excellent job of destroying the study of history, all the better to fool kids into thinking that history is the diversity crap they teach now. No nation can survive without knowing its own history.
You said it. The public education system produces morons. They know about recycling, global warming, and “Johnny has Two Daddies” but lack basic knowledge of history, literature or mathematics. The ignorant are easier to enslave than the educated.
Our future Chinese overlords will have an large pool of ignorant, unskilled labor to draw upon.
