To: Smogger

Intrinsic in all these idiot laws that attempt to “protect” us from the big bad internet is the governments overwhelming desire and need to feel they are in control of everything. They can’t stand that a single thing may be outside their jurisdiction. It’s a power-trip thing.

If you ask me that is at the root of a great many human evils. Goverment is obviously the nexus of this desire.(It is the logical place for men with the strongest drive in this area to congregate).

We should none the less provide for sanctions & tariffs against country’s that do not effectively protect our intellectual property.

Cutting Americans off from foreign thieves does not stop their thief.
