The lack of current events knowledge demonstrated by today's anchors and political commentators is often breathtaking.
On Sunday's Meet the Press, host David Gregory actually told Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.), "Democrats haven't put together a budget in a year." Actually, it's been almost three years.
DAVID GREGORY, HOST: Talk about who should have the most influence in this new year and Gallup has a poll that was very interesting. I'll put it up on the screen. Forty-six percent said President Obama, but 42 percent said Republicans in Congress and this is after you and President Obama had been out there campaigning saying it's all the Republicans' fault. They're standing in the way. They won't get anything done, yet it's pretty tight between who should have most influence, whether it should be the president or Republicans.
SENATOR HARRY REID (D-NEVADA): We know that we have a unique form of government, a Constitution which I think has been the most defining document in the history of the world for having good government. We have three separate equal branches of government. And the only way you get things done is not having one dictate what happens, not, not the legislative branch, not the executive branch or the judiciary. It's all a balance and that's what I think that we have to look forward this coming year. We haven't had that balance because we've had one arm of our bicameral legislature that has said we're going to do nothing except go after Obama. That's not the way we get things done.
MR. GREGORY: But you know what they're saying. I mean, look, you run the Senate. Democrats haven't put together a budget in a year.

Democrats Sat on hands for three years and can’t find anyone to blame,dems leadership at it’s finest.

That’s because they don’t want the taxpayers to know what happened to all the money or how bad things really are.
If the mainstream media would report the truth, there would be widespread panic.
If you produce a budget people know who and what you are. It is easier to let the Repubs produce one so they can bash it.

I watched the show on Sunday and couldn’t contain myslef. I was yelling at Gregory to ask Dingy Harry why they had not passed a budget in 1000 DAYS, which is before the Republicans even took over the House. Anyone with a brain knows the Democrats were so fearful before the Nov. 2010 election that they did not even put out a budget. They knew if they did, they would lose even worse so they just punted.
If ever there was a prime example of Gregory’s liberal bias, it was that moment. If it were a Republican Senate and Republican President, you can bet Gregory would have been truthful and asked why no budget had been passed in ALMOST THREE YEARS

If the Lamestream media reported the truth, there would never had been a President Clinton.
Gregory’s liberal bias is like so many in the media live with blinders on.
They are the poster children of educated idiots.
I think he means 4 years. But then Dems never were much for math.
