Yes we have protections and rights but if your free speech is causing the enemy to know where our ships are your first amendment rights ought rightly to be limited.

Surely you're not suggesting that DWI blood tests are implemented to protect national security...are you??

they announce where the duo check points are for a week ahead of time.

Are you suggesting that the police are free to abrogate the Bill of Rights as long as they give us advance notice??

And if the police "announce ahead of time" that they'll begin house-to-house warrantless searches for illegal materials and activities, and post the schedule so you can see when your neighborhood will be invaded, will you sell your house and move??

No I was not suggesting that dui checkpoints are matters of national security. All I was pointing out was that our rights have responsibilities with them too. Look I happen to agree with the ruling that the court made. I made a comment directed specifically at the irresponsible people who drink and drive. That was it nothing more. We are not entitled to license.
