Obama gives the Republicans a gift in an election year. We have the highest gas prices on record for a January with many experts predicting $5 a gallon gas by May, and this imbecile kills a pipeline deal that would bring more refinable oil to the US Gulf Coast? Obama and his minions constantly obsess about the Republicans saying they want him to fail. No one seems to want Obama to fail more than Obama! This would have created 10s of thousands of jobs, but Obama says "No thanks!" So while the media obsesses about Romney's taxes or Gingrich's proposals to put kids who want to work or about whatever else they chose to demagogue Republicans about, we have the serial killer of American jobs, Barack Obama, killing yet more US employment---and putting the US economy in even deeper jeopardy with record gas prices. What a dunce.

Excuse me, but is not the State Department composed of mamby-pamby marshmallow majors, none of which could pass an elementary calculus or physics course?

With all due respect, the fact that that joke of a department is headed by the Hillabeast (another joke who’s neveer had a real job and who be nothing had she not boinked Bubba) shows where it lives on the intellectual ladder.

Who gives a hairy, smelly Obama about what their one-celled brains “thinks”?

Please do it, Please, Please! Gas is headed back up to $4.00 and beyond and you're worried about mudskippers and greenie votes. This should be fodder for mega ads slamming obummer for what he is, an enemy of American prosperity!

“Obama gives the Republicans a gift in an election year. “

Absolutely! This is a gift. I never expected him to allow this to go through. He/they are so predictable.

This is the clearest example of Bari putting his politics ahead of what's good for America & Americans.

Denying America energy independence.

Rush is on it now.

Shouldn’t they be announcing this on Friday night at midnight?

Once they make the announcement official, if I were Canada, I would immediately announce a pipeline to the west for importing the oil to China.

email I got from Obamaloons last night:

Thank you for writing. President Obama has heard from many Americans concerning the proposed Keystone XL Pipeline project, and we appreciate hearing from you. The President is committed to creating the most open and transparent Government in American history, and values your input. Given your interest in this matter, you may be interested in reading a recent official White House response to a petition on this issue. To learn more, please visit: www.WhiteHouse.gov/Energy. Thank you, again, for writing.

at the point of "open and transparent" , I was laughing so hard, Mrs Wobbly asked if I was OK.

Okay, what states are Obama sure to lose as a result of this dopey decision? I’m guessing Ohio and Pennsylvania for starters.

The only thing I can’t figure out, is why McCain hasn’t praised Obama for this yet.

Am I slipping for not noticing him do it, or is he for not having done it?

Obama is owned by the Saudis. They not only paid for his trip to Pakistan when he was a young man of no means, they also paid large bribes to Columbia and Harvard to admit him, spectacularly unqualified as he was. There was apparently yet another bribe to the University of Chicago to accept this academic sub-mediocrity as a ‘lecturer’ there. Last but not least, a lot of the illegal foreign campaign contributions came from Saudi Arabia.

So, Obama owes them in a big way, his Marxism and ant-Americanism aside. He now has to keep the price of oil as high as possible for the continuing wealth transfer to the medieval Saudis.

Every candidate in the GOP should pound on this unceasingly from now until November.

The man is unhinged in his hate for America and his desire to hurt this nation.

The jobs we will not have a sa result of this decision, the further dependence on forein oil, the gift of North American oil to China it will result in, the negatinve impact on national security, the further erosion of and failure to use and increase our won energuy production and self reliance.

Obama is a disaster, and is an enemy to traditional America and the moral foundational principles our constitution depneds upon.

What the hell is the State Dept "voting" on and why? What does Hillary know about energy, or for that matter, anything? Remember this gem?:

Hillary Clinton's message that the US wants to reset its relations with Russia got lost in translation today.

Like all good diplomats, Hillary brought along a prop to her meeting with Russia's foreign minister.

What prop, you ask? A bright red symbolic "reset button" to give to Russia's top diplomat. Only problem — "reset" was mistranslated into Russian as "overcharge." How do you say "oops" in Russian?

are you serious ???

the DNC played the congress like the fools they are, or they are simply two faces of the same coin...

the 08 campaign revolved aroound the 'necessarily skyrocketing' cost of energy to fix the country...didnt hurt bambam too badly then did it ???

this will be spun to the masses for what it was, a 'republican' ultimatum, that of course the bambam was forced to reject, because the science isnt settled...

the dumbasses made an ultimatum that had no teeth to force him to accept it...for a two month extension of further raiding the SS *cough* trust fund...

bambam is dumber than a bag of hammers, but he is literate, somewhat, and can read the script...and the idiot princes of the gated DC establishment are playin along just fine as well...
