The good-hair progressive is out, we need more than magic underwear defense. That leaves two moderately Conservative candidates, both with baggage and issue problems. One has a greater track record of legislative success and elective success than the other. But either of those two would be far more trustworthy with our troops than the crackpot and aqua net.
