South Carolina will probably reelect her again as they keep reelecting that doofus Lindsay. South Carolina is a strange state with regards to their electing people. Again, she was put on a pedestal here at Free Republic. It happens way too much that we put people way higher than they deserve. Anyway, who knows she might have decided that one term as Governor is all she wants. I can't imagine that she really feels that Romney is what is best for America. She should be supporting Santorum or Newt. But again this is calculated and I believe she got into office and sees that she didn't like it like she thought she would and probably will bow out in 2014. Just my hunch.

Didn’t Nikki just receive a large contribution from Mitt? Was it just a down payment?

I believe that Haley, and maybe Christie in NJ, are cringing a bit now that Mittens doesn’t look like a runaway for the nomination.
I understand it’s all up in the air now so not to wishful think, but I bet Haley’s going to really be hurting if Mittens looses this thing.
So quick to jump on the bandwagon, so quick to betray. May the fleas of a thousand camels infest their armpits.
