A 12-year-old Klein ISD student is facing one month in an alternative campus as punishment for relieving himself in a water bottle after his teacher refused to let him leave class to use the rest room, according the boys' attorney.
On Jan. 13, the seventh-grader repeatedly asked the teacher if he could go to the bathroom and he was denied, said Houston attorney Bill Hawkins. The teacher also told him she would write him up as truant if he left the classroom, he said.
"The really outrageous part is that she told him, "I hope you pee on yourself,"" Hawkins said.
He said the student's parents, who do not want their names released, contacted him last week to appeal the school's decision. An appeal hearing is scheduled Wednesday, he said.
District officials on Tuesday declined to discuss the case, but released a written statement.
"Klein ISD must follow proper protocol when dealing with disciplinary matters for all students and the information must be kept confidential. The same is true for matters involving employees," the statement said.
The teacher left the boy with no other option but to do what he did, Hawkins said.

If he really had to go that bad, a “truancy” write-up would have been the least of his problems. The kid was an idiot for peeing in the bottle.
OK, ...............but what do the girls in this class do?
THe teacher should be suspended too.
The teacher should be force to pee on themselves in front of the entire school, with it videoed and put on YouTube, and then fired and banned from ever working with children again.
These public school teacher FREAKS are becoming nothing less than Gestapo.
The kid is lucky he will not be charged as a sex offender.
They use a funnel.
Sounds like the parents could be taking that teacher’s pension.

Try in her coffee cup, on her desk, and on her.

“.but what do the girls in this class do?”
Waste basket.
The teacher does not need to let everyone who needs to go to the bathroom.
Unless the kid has some strange medical condition, he could have held it until the end of class.
Whipping it out in class should have gotten him charged with Indecent Exposure.
Sounds to me like this kid had a plan to get the teacher and he successfully carried it out.

Can you please show me the law that states that a teacher must permit a student to leave the classroom each and every time they ask?
If I had to go badly and it was 1/2 way through class and I asked the teacher and they gave me that response I would have held it until it started hurting then i would have asked again, if the same crappy response, I would have let go and urinated while sitting in the desk, when class ended I would have stayed in the seat and when asked to leave I would demand that the principal come talk to me.
Then I would have explained everythign to the principal.
The ability to hold it until class is over depends on more than just your medical condition. It assumes that you planned ahead and relieved yourself when you had the opportunity. Most kids are not planners.
If the kid repeats this behavior frequently, he teacher should recommend his parents test him for juvenile diabetes. That is not a strange medical condition but leads to frequent urination. And it is life threatening.
We don’t know both sides of the story. But the history of both the kid and the teacher should be examined by those in authority and make the appropriate judgement. It is foolish to assume that one or the other is always right.
Public schools are a wasteland.
