You’ve heard that interest rates are low right?

But how about a 0 % interest rate for a $4.5 million loan? Is it free money?

California has reportedly agreed to give a state prison guard union an interest free loan to pay back money that it owes the state.

Published reports say California's prison officers union is getting a multi-million dollar interest-free loan (from taxpayers) to ‘settle a multimillion-dollar debt it owes the state.’

‘Cause they have so much money to burn.

And maybe the union can loan some money to the state.

Yea, but they're paying back all of the first 4.5 million loan, so we know they're a great credit risk.

Hey Californians, time to stalk up on those AK47s and Browning autos. Can't clean house with a broom now, it's beyond that. If you are from California and this doesn’t piss you off beyond sanity, you are already lost.

We need enterprising lawyers to see if there's a legal angle to pursue here.

This is an obscenity. They are stealing money from children's education, starving old people and crumbling our vital infrastructure.

If the rate of inflation for the next 16 is like the last 16, CA taxpayers could be losing $2 million to inflation on this “loan.”
