Mr. Adelson, by some estimates worth as much as $22 billion, presides over a global empire of casinos, hotels and convention centers whose centerpiece is the Venetian in Las Vegas, an exuberant monument to excess with canals, singing gondoliers and acres of slot machines. That fortune is a wellspring of financial support for Mr. Gingrich, who has benefited from $17 million in political contributions from Mr. Adelson and his wife, Miriam, in recent years, including $10 million in the last few weeks that went to a “super PAC” supporting him.

Around the corner from the NY Times Building is the Times Square area, an “exuberant monument to excess” with pimps, pickpockets, prostitutes, theaters, acres and acres of filth, and a place that burns up more energy than any city in New York state.

And next the New York Times is going to do an article on George Soros the man behind Obama’s money. Yeah...sure...like that would ever happen.

Apart from the fact that both Adelson and Soros are Jews, are worth billions, and are self-made men, they do not otherwise appear to have anything in common; no, political ideology, no similar biography, and they certainly do not share a common commitment the Jewish religion or to Israel.

There is no evidence that Adelson seeks to shape the world after his own ideology and is prepared to spend several fortunes doing it. There is no evidence that he, like Soros, meddles in the affairs of other countries.

Finally, there is no evidence that Gingrich's supporter is sinister, that he is tainted by collaboration with Nazis, that he has been indicted by foreign countries, that he has infiltrated and suborned an American political party, that he has undermined foreign governments or crashed currencies for personal profit.

In short, he stands up very well in comparison to George Soros.

Let people say what they want. At least now, Newt can compete with RINO-Rom and his millionaire buddies and with Obozo and George Soros. This guy will be able to neutralize Obozo’s Billion dollar war chest this Fall. THIS IS WONDERFUL NEWS IMO. I wish he’d buy Newt 30 min. of prime time on every local TV Station in FL this Monday night so Newt could share his heart with the people of Florida.
