Ever notice that every CRV on the road looks near new no matter how old it is. Do CRV owners have some compulsive disorder about keeping their cars spotless?
Yes, we CRV owners do! I got several calls last week from the dealership where I bought my second one 4 years ago — I told them that because they make such great cars and this was paid off, I’m nowhere near needing a new one!
No, it’s just that when one is in an accident, it’s just trashed.
Just the other day, I found a post-it note on my CRV with a phone number to call if I wanted to sell it. My car is a 2000 model-left the factory in ‘99!
Now that you mention it, except for a few dings it does look factory new. All I do, though is give it a hand wash and wax every two weeks. How it keeps looking the way it does, I don’t know. I am thinking of springing for a new paint job someday-believe me, she’s worth it. Best car I ever owned.
Now if only I could find a girlfriend to match...

Our 2004 CR-V with 178,000 miles+ looks & drives about like it did when we bought it (used) with 53K miles. Back then it was like a new car.
Good vehicle!
With the roof rack, trailer hitch & my 5x10 utility trailer I can haul most of the stuff I need to. It won’t handle our 26’, 7000# sailboat, though. ;-)
