Whoever is in the lead will be deflated by the media asap. Do we remember what happened to Palin, Perry, Cain, Newt?

I know Newt is now supported here. (Meaning after Cain, etc). I’d just like to see less attack on the GOP candidates, all of them. And especially when it’s a liberal sounding attack.

I’m not against the poor but I’m also not for any new programs, other than jobs and the economy, which will lift the poor as well. Do we really want Newt or anyone to focus on the poor and not on the middle class and business?

Just asking.

Are you purposely working this hard to miss the point?

***Do we really want Newt or anyone to focus on the poor and not on the middle class and business?***

Newt has presented his philosphy for the ‘poor’ that they leave the Democrat plantation of dependency; the WORK ethic to attain the American dream, by lessening the restrictions on ‘child labor laws’.

Sweat shop factories are a far different cry from paper routes, cleaning school lunchrooms, baby sitting, mowing lawns and other part-time, paying jobs. Every successful individual understands that to eat one must work and not take from those who do.

Romney did not say what you said! Romney says he would fill hole in the welfare state! In other words, expand it! Sounds just like Obama to me!

Newt's focus is on all people.

Romney's statement was divisive and downright stupid. He might have just as well said, "Let them eat cake."

Oh, and you can also bet the poor are not donating to his campaign. Should he win, you can bet he will be concerned with the rich that donated.

Can you imagine the attack ads Romney would be buying with his millions, if Newt said it. Rich, poor, or middle-class, this statement was downright stupid. If Newt's campaign doesn't ream him with it, you can bet the dems will.
