Sweden has occupied (most of) Germany.
Check out Gustavus Adolphus and the following history.
Germany has never occupied Sweden. In fact, no other country has ever managed to.

Sweden makes the best guns in the world...and I’m not talking about pistols and rifles. I’m talking about the kind of guns you see on the turrets of goddam tanks or on the deck of a ship.
I won’t denigrate your people. Nor do I have a personal axe to grind.
Our military cemetaries were filled in defense of Europe and ourselves.
The courage of the Swedes and Finns is well documented, and lessened the burden the rest of the free world had to bear...and we are thankful for that!
But- without us things would likely have had a different outcome, FRiend.
The Nordic Warriors are a powerful part of Western Culture, to borrow a phrase.
Legendary, in fact. The archetype of modern Northern Warfare. No disputing.

The military success I’m refering to is the progress made in the area of Mazar-e-Sharif in Northern Afghanistan.
American troops operated there before Swedish troops took the place over.

Sweden was rather well armed in 1939 (population 6.5 millions) but could not have defended itself even in theory against Germany.
At the end of the war, Nazi-Germany was weakened and over half a million Swedes were mobilized.
At this stage, Swedish troops also were well equipped.
Sweden could have risqued her own security, but did not.
It was not our war anyway.

We keep getting closer to having him for president though.
The same Sweden that couldn’t perform NATO missions in Libya because the weak engine Gripen cant use JP5(high performance military fuel) and uses cheaper civilian fuel. Our tankers couldn’t refuel them. Socialism at it finest. Yeah dont worry the US could crush you in under a day, but we are friends, I think. ;)
