This extremely mobile, swift, hard-hitting gun (see clips below) is an example of what could be accomplished by a small, well run country devoted to advanced engineering.

I apologize. I'm Scandinavian.
Anyhow, weapons like these, undeniably, provide my PC Sweden with the privilige of being the foremost pacifist nation on Earth.
Like it or not, my country has been very successful in fighting Islamofascism.
Not because we're more fanatic than those idiots are, but because we're better organized and equipped.
Yes, Sweden has enjoyed peace for over 200 years.
But before that, there were 2000 years of constant warfare, or even more.
Today, the US isn't the only nation that could go wherever it wants, do whatever it pleases and especially not finish the operation without leaving a trace.
When it comes to stealth technology, especially in the naval area, Sweden (but also Germany and to some extent the Russians) today is way ahead of the US.

Other nations had big cannons, too. And yet they were swept away by their enemies.
Don't get me wrong. I have a lot of admiration for Sweden. But it will take more than big cannons to defeat Islamofascism. It will take moral courage, lots of it. Too many Europeans would rather be swallowed by the snake than resist it.

What’s a Sweden?
If Sweden’s been so well armed for 200 years, how do you explain the game of footsie the Swedes played with Hitler during WW II? You know, all that iron shipped out of Narvik [one of the main causes of both German and Allied military operations in Norway], permitting German divisions to go from Norway to Finland via Sweden for Barbarossa, etc.

I'd cut Sweden a little slack on that. Even in 1944 the Nazis could have occupied Sweden if they so desired. It would have been bloody, but they could have done it.
Sweden = one well-armed man
Nazi Germany = a dozen well-armed SWAT members
And chainsaws, motorcycles and sewing machines. Meanwhile, heavy lifting got done by Caterpillar, Boeing, Northrup, Newport News Shipbuilding and Drydock, Grumann, Springfield Armory, etc..........
How would you know?
What kind of institutional memory do the Swedes have of warfare? As they say, no plan survives first contact with the enemy, and the first part of any armed conflict is unlearning the doctrine of the previous one. I guess if Norway gets uppity, you guys are safe.
Where were the rest of the World when we invaded Russia?
Turkey promised to aid us, but got scared and backed off.
No other neighbor of Russia but us dared to attack.

I don’t wish to accuse other nations of anything, but unlike tiny Sweden and Finland you don’t really know what’s it’s like having Stalin for next door neighbor.
Hope they’re as tough as they think. The Swedes haven’t fought a war since Napoleon. Up to now, they have been able to stay out and let others fight Nazi’s, Bolsheviks, Jihadists, etc.
But if the US goes down, they will get to stand toe to toe with a billion Jihadists, or 2 billion communists - take your pick. BHO has cut our nukes by 70% and expressed the desire to cut more. He is making major cuts in conventional forces as well. We may survive here, but its hard to see how we’ll have enough left to save haughty, decadent, sneering, disdainful Europe one more time. Probably we’ve shed too much American blood for Godless Europe anyway.

Listen, honestly, the Swedes are badasses, don’t think that they aren’t.
I can envision a time where we could very well need their help to defeat the demons we are letting grow inside our country right in front of our faces.
