And chainsaws, motorcycles and sewing machines. Meanwhile, heavy lifting got done by Caterpillar, Boeing, Northrup, Newport News Shipbuilding and Drydock, Grumann, Springfield Armory, etc..........

Correct. I have a Husqvarna Crown Grade .30-06 that is a wonderful, accurate rifle. It has the small ring HVA action and is in mint condition. As Jim Olt wrote about in the 1976 Gun Digest, it is indeed the "Practical Light Sporter.
