What is so Orwellian about this is that the Komen Foundation claims its objective is to save women’s lives.......yet half of the abortions Komen has financed via Planned Parenthood end with death of a woman.
OK but the there is another most Orwellian aspect to this and it is something Rush didn’t mention and it is off topic from his point, anyway.
The AMA, being pro-choice (the opposite of do no harm, of course) will not tell you this but it is well known in some circles, and has been for a while, that abortion is a risk factor in breast cancer. I am told it has to do with abruptly cutting off the need for pregnancy hormones which, in the case of spontaneous miscarriage, have a chance to subside naturally.
But statistically, abortion leads to breast cancer. I have known Komen contributed to PP for a long time. They used to stalk me via mail looking for $. We are well acquainted with breast cancer in my family.
I thought they were fraudulent at least 5 yrs ago, thinking that if they were at all serious about stopping breast CA they would broadcast this connection (AB to breast CA). The last thing they’d do is contribute to it in any way.
But they have been contributing to PP. It is a matter of public record and they have not tried to hide it.
Now they’re done, whether they conspired with PP or not.
Hang out with the mafia and either succeed with them or end up in the reeds with a smoking gun and no canoli.
Yeah, but at least it's not from breast cancer. Gotta give 'em that, I suppose.
Btw, if anybody is disposed to claim that the money Komen was giving to PP was for cancer screenings and not for abortions, I call their attention to those posters who have noted that money is fungible, and therefore giving anything at all to a major abortion house like PP for whatever purpose and pretending it doesn't facilitate murder is the same thing as trying to fill up only the shallow end of a swimming pool.
I am so using that one...wish I had thought of it.
