Well, whatever you think about her Romney fling, that’s our Annie.

Full steam ahead.

I muted my computer as soon as I saw her menacing face @ CPAC.

Ann is probably being well paid as a member of Romney’s campaign staff. She is probably been promised the position of Press Secretary or advisor. Another lucrative and celebrity position.

Sell-out.

Mitt Romney at 12:55? I hope people decide to not rush back from lunch. It would be kind of fun to hear about him talking to a depleted audience.

She must be doing lines of some serious powder.

I can only expect the people there either were dead silent or jeered he out of the room.

In the beginning, Ann was treated by some as a sort of "constitutional scholar" who was good at fighting the "liberals."

As the years went by, the question became, "Why would a person who understood the threat from the Left and had studied the Founders' explanations of their Constitution not choose to share the Founding ideas, instead of just being a flamboyant and moneymaking critic of the Left?"

Guess we know the answer to that question now.

A state doing Romneycare (which I probably wouldn’t have liked if I lived in Mass, but that’s not the point) is not the same thing as the Federal govt doing Obamacare, so in that sense, she’s correct (if that’s what she said). And no, I am NOT a Romney supporter.

From a financial standpoint, Ann has screwed the pooch. By going mainstream, she has lost the audience that made her career. She better get a good job from Oromney.

Recently, I have hear Ann describe herself as an author. She said, “ I am an author, that’s what I do. I write books.”

It just hit me that she does the public appearance and media appearances to sell books.

As an author, I believe she is pretty mediocre. The one book of hers I bought was about 15-20% introduction, if that, and the rest was a compendium of prior columns...A particularly lazy author if you ask me. On relection the 20% of new material, while not column reprints was just the same stuff she hawked on the air while hawking her new book.

It is the only book I ever bought or will buy from her.

I wonder, what sort of a crowd did she draw? In 2008, she drew the biggest crowd of any speaker. The line to get into her presentation seemed to be about as long as a football field.

I am there. Listening to Romney now. Ann was missing the mark. After Santorum’s speech on “ no comprmising conservative principles” kinda hard to swallow ......
pick the guy that will win the independants.

He is saying everything we want to hear! Just wonder if its just that.

Well, Romney paid people to carry his signs and wear his t-shirts, so I’m sure he would pay people to stack the audience. Unless there’s an LDS convention next door, of course.

Ann, I disagree with you on this issue. Forsake Romney. After the election I’d forgive you for your support of him. In the meantime I’d bang you like a loose screen door in a hurricane if you’d acquiesce.

It's not very comforting to think of what may happen to this nation if Obama should get another term and get to replace, say, Scalia and Thomas.

The election of Lincoln, and what it meant to the South, precipitated the FIRST US Civil War. Confirmation of a liberal majority in the Supreme Court could well do the same.
