My sister in law who voted for the Kenyan and who I no longer speak to, thinks mittens is great. Now she’s dumping the Kenyan and is now all in for mittens. That should say it all. She would never vote for a conservative.

I still want to know how on earth he got a standing ovation at CPAC.

The ones cheering for Mitt were paid Astro-turfers that were bussed in by the Romney campaign for his speech. They split right after the speech was over.

Hi there. My name is Mitt Romney and I’m an extreme, ultra, arch, right wing conservative. I can prove it to you with this humorous anecdote.

One day, many years ago my parents and our large conservative family were motoring through a `ghetto’ in Detroit, when my father was the somewhat conservative governor of that fine state.
We saw some poor people on their hands and knees in a vacant lot. I wanted to keep going, and urged my father to keep driving, because I am a much greater conservative than he, and realized that we haven’t any idea what to say to poor people, but he stopped, rolled down his window and yelled, “Hey! What do you people think you are doing?”

The lot was littered with broken glass and some scrubby weeds and some patches of brown grass.
One of the poor people got up and walked over, and said, “We’re poor people. We’re so poor that we cannot afford food and must graze this lot like cattle.”
My father said, “We’ll have none of this while I’m governor!” while I urged him to drive on.
Pater also ejaculated, “You’re coming back to our home with us. We have room in the car and there is plenty for everybody.”

This poor assortment of human flotsam/debris and riff-raff piled into our stretch limo and we drove home. With all the windows rolled down.

Once we arrived Father redeemed himself in my eyes by saying to this human garbage: “See our front and back yards? They haven’t been mowed all week because our Mexican lawn care people have been off for Cinco de Bano week. Feel free to eat all you want!” And then, of course, we called the police and they were run off.
Since I am a staunch, extreme conservative, however, I would had them eat the grass down, then pressed charges.
That’s me all right—Mitt Romney, Conservative. Vote for me if you are a conservative too.

Loved the joke they told at CPAC today.

There's a bar close by the convention center and a Conservative, a Moderate, and a Liberal walked into the bar. The bartender looked up and said, "Hi Mitt."

If you have to repeatedly tell people you’re conservative in a speech, you’re probably not.

Yeah. And Obama claims that he is an American.

They’re both lying sacks of used food.

“If you tell a lie long enough, people start believing it as the truth.”
//////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

Yes, and sometimes they become memes and people believe them just because they believe them and refuse to listen to anyone who questions those beliefs. Man made global warming is such a meme, it is believed without question by millions who cannot tell you any reason they believe it other than they have believed it for years and don’t want to rethink the question. The same people think anyone who questions Obama’s eligibility to be president is crazy but there is at least ten thousand times more evidence to support the belief that Obama is NOT eligible than there is to support belief in man made global warming. A high percentage of people do not want to do the hard work of thinking and learning, it is much easier to be “cool” and go along with the crowd.
I suspect that the percentage of people who admit to making decisions based on emotion and refusing to think about whether they might be wrong about their cherished beliefs is very, very small. I KNOW that the percentage of people who do anything resembling clear headed reasoning is very, very small.

“Rush said he has never before heard someone call themselves EXTREME conservative.”

That’s because any real conservative would know that “EXTREME conservative” is a contradiction in terms.

On Romeny's web site, "conservative" appears 24 times.

Then there is this gem:

"I was a conservative governor. I fought against long odds in a deep blue state. I understand the battles that we, as conservatives, must fight because I have been on the front lines. "

However, the actual quote:

“I was a conservative governor. I fought against long odds in a deep blue state, but I was a severely conservative Republican governor."

“Hello Conservatives. My conservative name is Mitt “the conservative” Romney. I come from the conservative state of, ah, never mind. Y’all probably can’t afford to live in my state. Anydway, my conservative idea today was to come here where all you conservative people talk conservative all day, and I’d show you just how frakin’ conservative a real conservative can talk.

When I was conservative Governor, I very conservatively governed. In fact, I conservatively governed so conservatively, that my conservative friends called me severly conservative. Which is kind of a conservative way to describe conservatively how conservative I actually conservatively am. conservatively speaking, I’m more moderately severely conservative and I’ll be the most extremely moderately conservatively conservative President to ever conservatively hold office, if you conservatives will conservatively vote for me. I won’t mind a conservative bit if you conservatives hold your conservative noses conservatively while conservatively pulling that conservative lever for ME, Mitt the conservatively conservative’s conservative Romney.

Remember I’m a true conservative. Thank you.”

He can't sell it. Even his own mother wouldn't buy it.

He described himself as a "severe conservative" as if it was a "condition" to be cured.

The man is a total and complete fraud.

Romney is as conservative as any predator, vulture, or 911-Mosque Supporter [NOT]

Myth Romney Luxuriates in a NAZI-stolen Palace

To hear Mitt Romney tell it, his two and a half years
as a Mormon missionary in France in the late 1960s were tough times.
The places he was staying often had no working toilet,
and certainly no baths or showers,
he said just this past Sunday
(in an effort to divert attention from the $10,000 bet he made Rick Perry).
He lived, he said, just like lower-middle income Frenchmen lived.
The truth is slightly different.

According to the Telegraph, for nearly a year during his time in France,
Romney lived in a "palace" in Paris' richest neighborhood, known as "the 16th."
... for most of 1968, Mr Romney lived in the Mission Home,
a 19th century neoclassical building in the French capital’s chic
16th arrondissement. “It was a house built by and for rich people,” said Richard Anderson,
the son of the mission president at the time of Mr Romney’s stay.
“I would describe it as a palace”.

It had chandeliers, stained glass windows, its own art collection and servants.
In his remarks this week, Mr Romney said of his French lodgings:
“I don’t recall any of them having a refrigerator. We shopped before every meal”.

Mr Anderson said that as well as a refrigerator, the mansion had
“a Spanish chef called Pardo and a house boy, who prepared lunch
and supper five days a week”.
The home in fact had several baths and showers."

According to Romney, proselytizing in la belle France was no picnic.
According to Romney, his French quarters had no working bathroom
-- "we had instead the little pads on the ground,"
and "there was a chain behind you with a bucket," Romney says -- and to shower,
Romney claims that "if we were lucky, we actually bought a hose
and we stuck it on the sink...and wash ourselves that way."

But Romney's gritty recollections contradict those of his fellow American missionaries,
who told The Daily Telegraph that Romney lived in a "palace."

Mitt Romney and the 911 Victory Mosque

"(The GroundZero Mosque) cleared its final hurdle ….
developers plan to build the $100 million center which will include a mosque.
Since its incipient stages in July 2009, when a Muslim-run real-estate development
company purchased the damaged, vacant building and land where the new center
will be built, the project has sparked controversy and debate.
.... the tattered building that was bought by the Muslim real estate company had
been owned by a subsidiary of Bain Capital, a company Romney founded in 1984.

So it's OK if his company can profit off the sale of the land ."

"Bain Capital, has cut checks totaling $90,000 to Romney's operation. "

Ground Zero mosque developers apply for federal grant
The developers behind the proposed Ground Zero mosque have applied
for about $5 million in federal grant money set aside for redeveloping
downtown Manhattan after the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks....
run by the Lower Manhattan Redevelopment Corp.
LMDC Board of Directors
John C. Whitehead, Founding Chairman"

The sad part is that the GOP-e continues to stand by their man despite yesterday’s debacle. They are just as contemptuous of conservatism as Romney.

It’s just amazing how openly anti-conservative the GOP has revealed itself to be. We always felt the undertone, but now it’s an open war on us.

The sneers on the faces of Ann Coulter and Karl Rove tell you how they really feel about us.
