Just curious why “NJ Trooper” is in the headlines? I don’t see where parental employment, ethnic background or politics should enter into it when someone’s children are killed. That’s the way I look at it.

I understand why it was in the headline. It makes it different for many. It does not mean it is a lesser tragedy for non law enforcement. It just is different for alot of people. Not more or less..just different.

When I googled the story there were about 5 different news outlets covering the story across the country. Most of them where playing that angle in the story.

Regardless, the trooper/father is in a world of hurt right now. This morning he had three health 11 year old children. Now he has one dead child, and two seriously injured children.
