WASHINGTON – The Obama administration is starting to shut down a program that deputized local police officers to act as immigration agents.

Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials have trained local officers around the country to act as their agencies' immigration officers. Working either in jails or in the field, the officers can check the immigration status of suspects and place immigration holds on them.

Now we can put the screws to Perry and the rest of the border states Gov’s to just lock the border down...Do it now, don’t wait for any studies or reaction from anyone or anything, just do it...

Voter Photo ID has just now been given the green light as well, just do it...

Since the Feds do not want any part of any illegal immigration enforcement, lets take up that ole tried and true delegation of powers, you know, that Constitutional thing everyone tries to ignore...

And when they try to stop the state(s) with the political courage to do this, from protecting our processes and citizenry from this threat...

A very simple answer should be delivered by those governors to the president, or his messengers...

“You Feds relinquished your duty to perform this task, so this state is going to take up that issue and act according to our Constitutional right to secure our “state” border...”

Look at the voucher program in D.C. Minorities were graduating high school in record numbers. And Obama shut it down while sending his kids to Sidwell.

Jessica Vaughan, director of policy studies at the Center for Immigration Studies said,

“Despite the claims of the Obama administration that they’ve been tough on illegal immigration and that the border is more secure than ever, the fact is that they have gone to extreme measures and have really stretched the authority of the executive branch to try to slow down immigration law enforcement in the interior to a slow trickle.”

Speaking about the Immigration and Customs Enforcement settlement with 11 illegals arrested in Connecticut in 2007, Vaughan went on to say,

“The administration has chosen not to defend the actions of its agency in doing its routine job. They have put pressure on all of the agents all over the country to avoid arresting illegal aliens.”
