I am also a Mason. I did the same thing to a neighbor and his mouth literally fell open. He refused to say much to me after that.

Imagine my surprise in 1960 when I went to the Mormon temple first time. The ceremonies and the handshakes and such were just like the Fraternity Activation ceremonies I had just gone through when being activated in Sigma Alpha Epsilon as a frat boy. Sorry but all of the frats in the day copied Masonic secret ceremonies.

On another note I instantly knew at that moment it was all a crock.
