I am continually amazed and flummoxed (even bumfuzzled...thank you, Bobby Bowden!) that anyone perceives this incompetent as someone who speaks and writes well.
First of all, we know nothing of his writings since his actual work in any school has been locked-down...(his multiple autobiographies do not count, since he likely did not write them...)
His speaking is atrocious...even with the TOTUS. I cannot listen to his presentation for a minute without turning him off. I have listened to and benefit from many black preachers over the years and up to the present...he does not have the presentation skills of someone who can present or persuade.
