Santorum got too far ahead of himself, stumbled, and let his mouth do him in.

Gingrich has settled back to the mid-teens — about where he was for the months before Cain’s demise.

It seems more and more inevitable that Romney is going to pull this one out, unless Santorum can come up with a few surprises in the fly-over states in the coming weeks.

Maybe the combo of Santorum and Gingrich can garner enough delegate votes to stop Romney. However, the division of delegates will soon end, as more states will be winner-take-all. [I am not exactly sure of who the GOP has those divided up.]

That’s the friggin’ truth. Every time he opens his mouth, I get nervous; you never know what’s gonna come out. (Plus, he got a little cocky; lost his humility which was a drawing card for him.)
