The Romney Machine moves on
Daily Mail ^ | March 5, 2012 | James Lucier

Posted on 03/05/2012 2:47:29 AM PST by Cincinatus' Wife

.....Everywhere Romney goes, he gets the strong support of the manipulators of the political apparatus--the elected politicians, the party committee officials, the staffers who hope their bosses will stay in office, the pollsters, the paid political consultants and Republican-leaning pundits who want to keep their sources. Like Obama, these Republican politicos look down on Santorum as the embarrassing, ne'er-do-well sibling who doesn't know when it's time to leave. They find his surge of support by the dumb party faithful as an annoyance.

In the same way, the party operatives see Newt Gingrich, the one-time Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives, not just as annoying, but dangerous. Golden-tongued Gingrich is armed with ready facts and fresh ideas. Ideas are unsettling to straw-stuffed politicians who just want to get on with the election. Among Gingrich's ideas was the notion that the Republicans could take over the leadership of the U.S. House of Representatives, something not thought possible to the comfortable leadership of the permanent minority. It was an idea which resulted in his becoming Speaker of the House, and working out deals with President Clinton for welfare reform, tax cuts and a balanced budget.

But Gingrich's tenure as Speaker was stormy. Some of his then colleagues have complained recently that he had a new idea every day. This was truly frightening to a party that had not had one new idea in 40 years....

Embracing the same capitalist principles of "creative destruction" that made their man a multi-millionaire at Bain Capital, the Romney forces systematically mowed down his campaign opponents as though with fabled Gatling guns spraying millions of dollars worth of half-truths, distortions and not a few lies....

You may want to read Super Tuesday by Thomas Sowell
Thomas Sowell appears to be one of the few straight thinking “Conservatives” who so far has escaped drinking this mind polluting Cool Aid which is being served up to many so called republicans. The reason the left leaning media pretty well leaves Mitt Romney unscathed is because they want him to be nominated. They know very well should he get the nomination good many true conservatives will not vote for him, as they see him as the white, warmed over version of what occupies the white hut at the moment and is in the process of undoing and dismantling piece by piece this once great country. Just give it some thought, perhaps you may get the point what the left is trying to accomplish in order to keep their imbecile of choice in power.

This is my take Saintgermaine

He also has so many issues that the left can use against him that, by the time the Dems and media finished poking holes in him, he’d look like swiss cheese.

1) I am not now and I will never again call myself a republican... not unless the party is changed from the ground up. I may vote for a Conservative republican but I will not give them any donations nor will I volunteer my time... I have for decades and all I got was my Republic destroyed, one scandal after another and nepotism on a world scale. Oh... and lame "my turn" candidates that turn America OFF!

2) I will not vote for romney for any reason whatsoever... there is a line beyond where no man must endure corruption and manipulation. To vote for romney is to vote for the continuation of socialism and acceptance of the “new world order”. You can... I will not.

3)Without major changes and a complete roll back of all of soetero’s communism, America will default and our economy will crumble. Russia and iran are now refusing to work in dollars... china hints as much... and half of Europe is set to go with them.

WAKE UP PEOPLE!

If Mitt Romney is nominated I shall not vote for him. Our nation needs saving, and if I cannot vote to save America, I will not vote for anything less.

Charles Krauthammer has said that there wouldn't be a dime's worth of difference in how Gingrich or Romney would govern and doing anything other than supporting whoever ends up as the GOP nominee will return Barrack Obama to the whitehouse to finish the destruction of our country. There will be nothing left to repair or try to put back together after eight years of Obama in the whitehouse.

The UK Daily Mail. Why is the truth evident to the foreign press and not the US media?

Oh - sorry;(

That's about how I'd describe him... The choice needs to be between Romney and Gingrich, either one of them could win.

I’ve got a feeling that people who can’t stand Romney now (include me in that number) will vote for him Nov. 6th if he is the nominee. We’ve got to get Obozo out of the White House. I’d crawl over broken glass to vote for a one-eyed, sh** eating dog over Obama.

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Thats right. The GOP has not framed the issues appropriately. Obama is a fascist, he is not just another “president” and this is not just another election.

If the GOP cannot raise the appropriate issue because it will upset its RINO applecarts, then eff them. It will be civil war to get rid of Obama’s fascist movement. The ballot box looks as if it will fail in preserving the Republic, because of the GOP missing the last opportunity for a peaceful electoral resolution on the issue of totalitarian governance by a fascist who is not qualified to run for the office in the first place.

I will not vote for any GOP candidiate who cannot or will not address that cogent issue our nation faces, and that certainly is Romney.

Pardon me for saying this -
all these talks about not voting for Romney is making the left very very happy! You are telling them obozo will be re-elected!

Leave that decision for later. Right now focus on defeating Romney!

I think whoever is brave enough to challenge obozo’s forged birth certificate and selective service reg. card will be the nominee!

Charles Krauthammer is a Romney guy. He's hoping voters will go to Mitt (though their hearts and minds tell them Newt is head and shoulders above Romney).

krauthammer is a dim... raised a dim and worked for mondale and attacked Reagan for a paycheck. He is a beltway elitist snob and a progressive big government drone. I have a DVD of Fox on election night 2008... kraut was orgasmic on obama’s win... and he proclaimed that he would govern as a centrist. kraut is a liberal fool... do not lend credence to anything that he propagandizes.

“If Mitt Romney is nominated I shall not vote for him.”

That is crazy talk.
Nobody will convince me any of our candidates will be as bad as Obama. I voted Saturday in the Washington caucus for somebody maybe you will approve of, but come November I don’t give a GD who our candidate is, I will be voting for him, to send that disrespectful America hating A-hole back to Chicago.

That is the Prime Directive.

FWIW..

March 5, 2012: Raleigh, N.C. – The news is good for Mitt Romney and Newt Gingrich and bad for Rick Santorum in PPP’s final polls of the three biggest Super Tuesday states.

In Ohio Romney leads with 37% to 36% for Santorum, 15% for Gingrich, and 11% for Ron Paul.

In Tennessee Santorum leads with 34% to 29% for Romney, 27% for Gingrich, and 8% for Paul.

In Georgia Gingrich leads with 47% to 24% for Romney, 19% for Santorum, and 8% for Paul.

Its going to take a lot more than a vote to send Obama anywhwere.Parallel Germany in 1928, Obama is a fascist developing into a totalitarian dictator. Do you really think we can get rid of him via the vote?

Maybe, but only if there is an Obama opponent who campaigns on what Obama really is and what he represents: fascism. I do not see any GOP candidate who even remotely makes that case to the public except Sarah Palin.

(What Hitler did to gain elected power from 1928 to 1933, now see if you can find Obamas exact parallels)

2. Re-organising the Party
In this period, however, Hitler set about reorganising the Party. He put in place many of the things which helped it take power after 1928:

• He reduced the number of Stormtroopers (SA) and set up the SS, a personal bodyguard fanatically loyal to himself.

• He set up a network of local parties. He merged with other right-wing parties, then took them over.

• He set up the Hitler Youth, which attracted young people to the party.

• He put Josef Goebbels in charge of propaganda. Goebbels and Hitler believed that the best way to get the support of the masses was by appealing to their feelings rather than by argument. They waged a propaganda campaign using posters, leaflets, radio and film, and organised rallies.

• He cultivated the support of wealthy businessmen promising them that, if he came to power, he would destroy Communism and the Trade Unions. This gave him the finance to run his campaigns.

I will never vote for a milksop when we need a warrior
to save our country. A milksop cannot get that job done, and so we will have to fight the fascists in the traditional ways or relinquish our Republic to darkness..

I don't know. A lot of us are tired of bending over and spreading for the Republican liberal establishment.

I'm done voting for liberals with (R) next to their name.
