Obama Plans Won't Cut Oil Prices For Decades, If Ever
Investor's Business Daily ^ | 3/22/2012 | John Merline

Whenever the subject of drilling comes up, President Obama consistently discounts it as a way to lower oil prices...Instead, Obama has been touting an "all of the above" policy, which focuses less on what he calls the "fuel of the past" and more on things like alternative energy and improved efficiency. He will tout this approach again on Thursday at stops in Oklahoma and Ohio.

But will those other efforts work any better than would aggressively pursuing more oil production?

People are waking up....Obama will NOT be around for decades. Maybe he can get a job at the U.N., where lunacy is the foundation of most policies.

The entire Obama administration is determined to RAISE gas prices.

Anything and everything stated by any of the to the contrary, is nothing but propaganda.

They say one thing because they have to, but every single action shows they want gas prices to RISE.

Why anyone would believe any single claim to the contrary, is stunning.

Has America become so easily lied to?

The United States could be, and should be the leading oil producing nation in the world.

Obama and the Left cannot allow this to happen for if it did the American free market Capitalist economy could not be brought down and replaced with a centrally dictated government controlled economy.

Obama says that speculators are driving up oil prices. However, how would speculators react if were were going ahead with the Keystone XL pipeline and would no longer need to depend of getting our oil from the volatile Middle East?

I am tired of this administration finding reasons to not do things. Drilling for oil won’t help in the near term, but more available oil from within our borders can be nothing but beneficial in the long term.

In normal times oil is sold on the world market so domestic oil will be sold to the highest bidder worldwide. But when times become un-normal and world oil becomes scarce, our domestic oil sources can save us from a lot of grief.

Time to start posing the question in some of the more mainstream editorial pages -

WHAT IS OBAMA’S GOAL WITH THESE ENERGY POLICIES?

Is it, as many on the left would assert, to have an end goal that is good for everyone, despite the interim misery (this is the communist mindset)?

Or is the goal to INFLICT the “interim misery” out of some sort of twisted revenge on Western Civilization?
