Maybe DeMint wrote off getting a conservative nominee for president as hopeless a long time ago, and he's always been focused on the Senate. I suspect the party boys got together with him and told him he had to help call off the conservative dogs in the presidential race to help his down ticket goals. So he's taking one for the team. You're not supposed to do that according to Romney, though. I hope Romney appreciates all these people willing to throw themselves in front of the train for him.
