Romney’s wins have been primarily in Obama strongholds at the same time he has consistently insulted conservatives. Add the fact that he’s going to shake off his “severely conservative” positions for the general election proves that he doesn’t think conservatives are all that important to his election.
The good ol’ boys club GOP establishment, after many rounds of golf and salon dinner parties to complain about the frustratingly ignorant noncompliant unwashed conservative masses, have now figured out the only way their great white hope, Romney, can even “look” like a winner - is to run him unopposed
