A Mormon America, Brought To You By Mitt Romney
christiannewstoday ^ | 4/27/10 | By Tricia Erickson, author of the book, “Can Mitt Romney Serve Two Masters?”

Posted on 04/27/2012 4:16:26 PM PDT by Mozilla

If the GOP didn’t hurt us enough by propping John McCain up to be our 2008 nominee, handing us Barack Obama on a silver platter, now, by serving up this horrendous Romney Manchurian Candidate to be our next President, they are further promoting another party member, the “POM”, the “Party of Mormonism”.

We have seen the power of the Mormon voting bloc by way of Romney winning Arizona, Idaho, Nevada, Wyoming, Hawaii and Florida, and Utah will be a slam-dunk. We can expect that 90% of the 6 million US Mormons will vote for Romney. According to LDS statistics and church facts, the church currently has 52,483 missionaries on the ground, worldwide, bringing the undiscerning into the sect. With a fraction of this figure of missionaries in the US, hundreds join the church each day.

Just how committed is Mr. Romney to his Mormon faith? Mitt Romney was a graduate of Brigham Young University and a Mormon Missionary. He was promoted twice on his mission to Missionary Zone Leader and Assistant to the Mission President. Mitt also became a Mormon Bishop and later became a Stake President, presiding over a dozen Mormon Churches. You cannot get more Mormon than Mitt Romney.

As President of the United States, Mitt will have less authority than that of the living prophet of his church. He is therefore, no matter his position as leader of this nation, subject to the Mormon infallible Prophet and his orders and mandates, even if those mandates are not in the best interest of our nation.

[snip]

Through Mitt Romney, the Party of Mormon will finally, after struggling for authenticity for their patently false religion, become “main stream” to a fallen nation.

-"...handing us Barack Obama on a silver platter..."

WRONG!!! As much as I despise McQueeg, IT WAS BUSH who handed us Obama on a bright and shiny silver platter. With his miserable failure to defend himself from 2005 to 2008 against the leftist onslaught, and the falling asleep on the financial meltdown in 2008 and then letting Democrat Paulson start the bailout bonanzas, it's no wonder the country wouldn't even let another Republican get into the WH.

Ok, when left with a choice between a Muslim and Mormon do you even have to think about it? If you do, then tell me when the last Martian flight landed.

There may be six million total in the US, which makes maybe three million who can vote.
The last numbers I saw 94-98% are (lds) voting for Romney.
My lds family is supporting him 100%, they all think he is the fulfillment of prophesy.
Romney is mormonism, totally and completely.

Will 90% of six million Mormons voting for Romney be more or less than the % of Muslims voting for Obama? Remember when we were warned about JFK being a Catholic and the dangers that posed to America when he ran?

McCain was ahead until he suspended his campaign and did absolutely NOTHING.

Tricia Erickson, (a conservative) was the first Damage Control/Crisis Management Specialist in the country, as stated by Barbara Walters on the show “20/20”. Tricia is also a political consultant and on-air contributor. She has opined on many local and national news and entertainment TV and radio shows/networks. She is also the author of the new book “Can Mitt Romney Serve Two Masters? The Mormon Church Versus The Office Of The Presidency of the United States of America.”

Tricia purposely became less active on-the-air in recent years and has not necessarily sought to participate in on-air interviews. However, because of the concern in her heart that for the first time in history, a prominent Mormon could achieve the Office Of The Presidency, she feels a responsibility to educate the public, both in the US and abroad, regarding what this potential Mormon President could truly mean for America.

She is an expert on the well-masked cult of Mormonism and a former Mormon Bishop’s daughter who left the church in her mid 20’s.

From a political stand point, she believes it is imperative to reveal the facts on Romney’s political record, in opposition to what the Romney camp will shift the voters to believe in order to achieve the Presidency.

Wise move on the Obama/Hillary team.

Pitch the Mormons against the other Christians.

Obama is setting himself and Hillary 2016 up very wisely.

Let’s see.

Mormons are pro-life.
Mormons support traditional marriage.
Mormons as a voting block are more conservative than most.

Mitt, on the other hand, isn’t pro-life.
Mitt doesn’t support gay marriage.
Mitt is, for all intensive purposes a liberal.

Hmmmm... story doesn’t hold water. Maybe they will vote for him because they share the same underwear, but I wouldn’t assume they would any more than I assume that Catholics would vote for someone because they held that label or everyone who goes to a church with ‘Trinity’ in its name would vote for Obama.

“mormons against other Christians” makes no sense, mormonism is not Christianity.

Obama’s heritage is also Polygamy.
Some of obama’s goose steppers tried bringing Romney-polygamy thing about a week ago...it worked worse than the dog thing.

But don’t they claim to be?

And does this then upset the others?

This is what Axelrod will very aptly use.

“Ok, when left with a choice between a Muslim and Mormon do you even have to think about it? If you do, then tell me when the last Martian flight landed.”

It’s a choice of one guy who thinks he is a messiah (and ultimately, God) and the other who is practicing to be a god with both being good Progressives for the cause of Leftism.

Gotta love how the Leftist elite rig the system to make sure we get a couple of great choices!

I’m going to write in Sarah for POTUS.

Did JFK help or hurt the Catholic Church? He hurt it. Did Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton help or discredit the Southern Baptist Church? They hurt it. I could go on about the Bushes and their liberal churches.

It is a patently false assumption to think that Romney will help the LDS Church. The exact opposite is more likely correct.

mormonism started claiming it was Christianity about two decades ago, before that, absolutely not.
mormoism is not as conservative as they want people to think.
Of course there are individual mormons that are, but as a foundation it is not.
As an example one of my lds uncles (a former bishop) says mormonism is not pro-life but more anti-abortion.
(They discourage abortion but do not prohibit it).
mormonism will be laid bare by Romney’s nomination.
(Which in the long run may not be a bad thing, there are so many mormons [as well as others] who have no idea what the actually beliefs are.

Romney in 2002: I’m “Moderate,” “Progressive,” and “Not a Partisan Republican” [VIDEO]
http://www.motherjones.com/mojo/2011/12/romney-2002-moderate-progressive-not-partisan-Worcester

“I think the old standby definitions of who votes for which party have been blown away in this campaign. I think people recognize that I’m not a partisan Republican—that I’m someone who is moderate, and that my views are progressive.”

Progressive is just another name for Leftist, collectivist, democrat, marxist, socialist, etc.
