Am only halfway thru the comments on the NATO Countdown page, but so far this is my favorite:

- back-up pistol (same caliber - so you can use same ammo)

- second pair of socks
- long flashlight (doubles as a club)
- big can of hornet spray (poor man's mace alternative)

Seriously.

I have actually been thinking I should start driving to work instead of riding the commuter bus. I do not want to get caught downtown needing to get out and no means of transpo.

I can’t even believe I’m thinking such things. The world is upside down.

And I *must* get my carry permit! I need to take the class - that’s all I need to file the paperwork..... Finding time is like trying to find BO’s real birth certificate.
