Obama to get do-over on Keystone pipeline
WASHINGTON TIMES ^ | 5/4/2012 | STEPHAN DINAN

Posted on 05/05/2012 11:37:27 AM PDT by bramps

In a statement, TransCanada President Russ Girling made it clear he was appealing to Mr. Obama’s own stated goals of boosting American energy supplies. He also said the thousands of pages of environmental reviews already completed for the earlier application should convince the president to speed this new permit along.

How is the media handling this situation. The permit process was submitted again and I don't remember the media covering it. I would think it is one of the most important subjects to get to the bottom of. The problem with the media is they are also at the bottom, of the rotten barrel.

$10 says he kills it again, and blames it on the GOP-ers, as usual.

The pipeline would go RIGHT BY the Wyoming TAR sands/shale..
Can’t have that.. the rubes might PUT two and two together!!!..
Then they find out that Utah and Colorado have oil sands as well..
The U.S. is swimming in untapped petroleum..

Meaning: More oil than Saudia Arabia.. and Iraq combined.. maybe(probably) Iran too..
also; most of Alaska is off limits to oil prospecting.. an area as big as the whole western U.S...
not counting the amazing amount of gas and coal found there..
AND what about the eastern coast of the United States.. not a drop of oil can be drilled there.. WHY?..

Zero is indeed the wicked Wizard of OZ.. all mouth and bluster, little logic..

You know, when incoming Energy Secretary Palin has her meeting with outgoing Energy Secretary Chu in January 2013, I do hope she asks him if he has been on drugs the last four years, because some of the inane ideas and discombobulated backtracking could not have been done by anyone with a clear mind.

Actually if she was appointed.. I hope THAT..
She SLAPPS him hard across the face and then proceeds to pull his tongue out.. (with pliers)..

Obama will get the pipeline. He will buy off the environmentalists by trading West Virginia and Pennsylvania away for flyover states.

He will declare all he ever wanted was to do his due diligence and now that it is done, the pipeline is approved. 150,000 jobs will be created, but with Obama’s media involved, that number will swell to 2,000,0000.

Unemployment will go down because of this as will gas prices. Toss is some minor tweaks to Obamacare and the College Student Loan program as well as blaming Republicans for tax increases, Obama will be re-elected in a landslide.

... Energy Secretary Palin...

I LIKE the sound of that! Hope Mitt has the sense to make that appointment.

I thought the betting here was that he would keep turning it down until he'd wrung all the campaign contributions he could from the "greenies" . . . then approve it in time to bring down gas prices for the election.

Like a true muzzie POPS© (piece-of-pig-sh*t), he talks out of both sides of his mouth. In front of a lib-donor audience, he'll take credit for killing it. In front of the MSM's cameras, for general public consumption, he'll blame it on the GOPers, along with the loss of jobs, economic hardship, more 0bummerVilles, price of gas, etc.

It’s down to $3.79/gal here, from $3.99/gal just 10 days ago. Someone’s pulling strings, somewhere.
